This September I’ve been busy with this!
In conjunction with Johor Bahru Arts Festival, I have joined the Arty Party girls at the art and craft market for a month long public art installation with the aim of raising funds for the Society of the Deaf Johor. The installation is the official logo for JBAF, made of 320 yellow paper butterflies and a huge recycled panel. Each butterfly is carefully drawn, cut and signed by children and public.
On the last day, there was even a T shirt design competition! Now that I’ve thought, why didn’t I think of a Minion outfit?!
The installation can never be done without the Arty Party girls (Sofia, Jenn and Jess). Such enthusiasm and rare gems in the local art scene. Can’t thank enough to have met them!
My installation in a castle. How cool was that?!
